The underestimated power of the cheetah~~~ There has always been a stereotype that cheetahs are the weakest of the big cats. This is true to an extent, but here are some facts that wil make you think twice before calling them weak!
First off, lets compare them to other predators. Cheetahs have a bite force of 475 pounds and a bite force quotient of 119, more or less. African wild dogs, according to wolf web's forumhttp://www.wolfweb.com/wolf/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5636, have a bite force of 317 pounds. this is also the measurement listed on answer.com. A field test taken about two years ago showed grey wolves, the largest extant canid, have a 300 pound bite force. Leopards and cougars have around the same bite force as the cheetah, which is very impressive judging by the small jaw of the cheetah.
A Siberian tigers' bite force, when ratioed to cheetahs bite force relative to body size, is over 1/3rd weaker than a cheetah's bite force relative to body size.

TF Prime "Orion Pax: Part 1" ReviewWell, the Season Two premiere finally aired. Hello everyone. The purpose of this journal is to gather suggestions from the members of this website on how the literature section could be improved. Let's compile a list of things that we all think would help improve literature on Deviantart.
No matter how small the idea or suggestion, POST IT. I will add it to this journal for everyone to see.
Suggestions:
-Stacked deviations for chapters. Have it so comments can be separate for each chapter.
-Have better protection for our text. I know it's pretty much impossible to completely protect, but I've seen websites where if you copy text from their page and paste it elsewhere, they had hidden sentences from the copy that state where the text is from. It's almost nothing, but it does force more effort onto people to edit them out. (Plus they may not notice it right away. Sneaky sneaky ;P)

More laughing out loudI found a few very funny rules in the U.S. and a few other countries, some of which make me wonder "what happened to cause them to make that kind of law?". As some members may have noticed, Muse has had unusual inactivity. For reasons NOT worth going into, I got a bit worn out with the project.  It's hard to find good help, as the saying goes.  And finding the right admins that share my vision didn't really pan out.  So I stepped away for a while.
In order to revitalize my interest in continuing with more enthusiasm for the characters and world, I am moving this canon on to bigger and better things, gearing it towards my idea of a solid, positive community. For all the people wondering, I think I remember he was naked because he was in a nudist beach, and there were signs that said "Follow the arrows for a surprise" and the last arrow points to a sign on the floor that says "Surprise!" Lol
