My mum once scared a kankaroo when she went out walking. The kangaroo then attempted to escape by jumping up the rise on the side of the dirt road. Unfortunately, there she hit the fence. She then rolled back down the slope, and instead of going another way, tried to go back up that slope. She ran into the fence about four times before she went another way... so no, I don't think that humans are the only species to make the same mistake twice XD
