Hi guys! It's been so long since last time I updated something on dA (as usual).
As some of you know I moved to the UK 4 years ago to work as surgical theatres boss in London.I decided to put that profession aside because I wanted to be true to myself and turn my hobby (Arts) into a reality.I was really fed up of work conditions in the healthcare sector.
It's so sad to see how undervalued these important and indispensable
professions are in SO MANY WAYS. Surgeons, doctors, nurses and physiotherapists
deal with people's lives (LITERALLY), biological hazards and are under high stress/burnout DAILY.
In the public sector, healthcare workers are very underpaid. In the private sector, salaries are much higher but work conditions are even worse
so c'mon... REALLY???!!! All this must be a joke!
Due to so many complains in my department when I moved to the private sector, I tried to fight for workers' job conditios and rights from my position, but companies are... companies, so final decisions are OUT of any healthcare professional's hands, sadly. I firmly opted for resigning and moving out because I wasn't allowed to look after my staff fairly.
It's sad to say but job conditions actually make a difference on people's minds, behavior and their life quality and, to be honest, I didn't want to end up like some people I've met.
Anyways, I'm so excited to share something with you:
I MOVED TO MADRID AND STARTED A DEGREE IN 3D MODELING AND VFX!!!
I'm very happy about this decission because it also means I'll have more time to resume my art again
, improve it and I finally hope to achieve a better life quality and happiness.
Anyway, I'm so happy I had that experience in London surgical theatres, because I've learnt a lot about myself, discovered a lot of things I could've never known if I hadn't moved.
This way I managed to know what I really want and what I don't want at life anymore. Thanks to all these life experiences I was able to be who I am nowdays Always be true to yourself if you want to chose your path wisely.
What's the point of living in a lie? Sadness and frustration becomes chronic with the time and WILL LITERALLY MAKE YOU ILL, PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY. Never forget your gifts and talent
